Resonance spruce
The huge and magnificent Risoud Forest conceals a treasure sought by string instrument builders from all over the world: resonance spruce. As upright as ever, beautiful and strong, absolutely perfect, it is the one and only amongst ten thousand trees that has been selected. To find it, there is a remarkable man, who looks for it, hour after hour, day after day and year after year. At nearly 80 years, this tree gatherer has discovered it, embraced it, spoken to it … and the tree has answered. Resonance wood is the heart of a tree speaking to the heart of a man.
After about ten years of rest, the guitar builder starts his work. He will absorb this harmony wood of 350 years, full of life and vibrations. He will, with his exceptional knowledge, shape it, arch it and reveal its unique and precious musical sound. The luthier will build guitar tops and membranes for the Soundboard. This instrument replaces loudspeakers and reveals all dimensions of music. An invention signed by JMC, the initials of the gifted luthier Jeanmichel Capt, which offers a new way of listening to music at home. To be tested, absolutely!
