Le Séchey

The village of Le Séchey was founded in 1547 and belongs to the Municipality of Le Lieu.

Le Séchey was the first village within the Municipality of Le Lieu that got to know the watchmaking fever at the end of the eighteenth century; a fever that ceased in the nineteenth century.

Lac Ter - the smallest lake in Vallée de Joux - welcomes each winter many people who feel like skating in the open air or simply walking on this little frozen lake.
