Jura Park, Lake Geneva Region
From La Dôle to Romainmôtier via the Jura foothills and Joux Valley: 31 villages have decided to emphasise the beauty of their natural and cultural sites by developing the project of a regional nature park.
Jura Park in the Lake Geneva Region offers a host of excursion and accommodation possibilities in the heart of a peaceful and preserved environment.
A network of trails offers 523 kilometres of walking possibilities to explore and to admire magnificent forest pastures, chalets and their stone walls, all the while with a view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. In winter, bikes and hikes are exchanged for cross-country skis, downhill skis or snowshoes.
Countless Alpine pubs as well as 18 chalets, where Alpine Gruyère AOC is made, offer visitors the possibility to savour terroir products.
Last but not least, the charming villages in the Jura Park of the Lake Geneva Region offer visitors accommodation for a well-deserved rest before taking off to make new discoveries.
