Largest body of water the Jura massif, the Lac de Joux is and outdoor activity paradise. At the altitude of 1004 meters, in summer the water can get up to 24 degrees, ideal for a fresh summer swim. The lake provides endless possibilities; windsurfing, paddle boarding, water skiing, kite-surfing, canoeing, kayaking or even paddle boating. In winter, when all conditions come together, the lake freezes over completely, becoming the largest outdoor ice-skating rink in Switzerland and Europe. Adults and children alike cut loose to play either on foot or on ice-skates.
