With 200km of trails in unspoilt natural surroundings, the Vallée de Joux is a paradise for cross-country skiing.

To make the most of this winter beauty, cross-country skiing is the ideal leisure activity for all the family. Trails for all levels make up a 200km area, one of the largest in Central Europe.
From the shores of Lac de Joux to the Risoud forest, the well-maintained trails run by the region's four Nordic Centres guarantee the very best skiing for children and adults alike. Equipment can be hired from the sports shops at L'Abbaye and Le Mollendruz. Ski passes are on sale at the start of the main runs, at the tourist office or online below.
