Transport & Access

There are a number of bus routes for getting around the region:

• AVJ Transports line between Le Pont and Le Brassus via Les Bioux (daily)
• Travys line between Yverdon-les-Bains and Le Brassus via Le Lieu (daily)
• Car Postal lines

• MBC line between Cossonay-Penthalaz and Le Pont via Col du Mollendruz (weekends and public holidays)

The ValPass guest card offers free travel on these routes throughout the Vallée de Joux, up to the three passes.

The Vallée de Joux is served by 5 main roads:

• The Col du Marchairuz
• The Col du Mollendruz
• The Col du Mont d'Orzeires
• The Route de Mouthe (from Haut-Doubs)
• The Route de France (from Les Rousses / Bois d'Amont)

Lausanne and Yverdon-les-Bains are 45 minutes away, and Geneva 50 minutes.

A Swiss motorway vignette can be purchased from Vallée de Joux Tourisme for CHF 40.
