Direct sales, catering and cheese-making demonstration area
Run by the Berney and Pittet families, the Grands Plats de Bise mountain pasture now welcomes visitors to its brand-new moutain chalet restaurant. It’s the perfect opportunity to sample their homemade fondue mix on the spot. Those who are curious can also take a peek at the production area through a glass wall.
Products from the chalet (Gruyère, Bi-Blanc, raclette, butter, sérac, cream, meringue, etc.) and many other local specialities are available to buy in their small shop selling regional produce, from Wednesday to Sunday between 4pm and 6.30pm, as well as during the mountain chalet restautant's opening hours.
A number of events are also organised throughout the season.
