Outings and workshops to discover the region’s plants and their benefits
In the hamlet of Derrière-là-Côte, Kerstin Rochat welcomes anyone keen to discover the secrets of the edible and medicinal plants of the Vallée de Joux at her herbalist’s shop, Les Sorbiers.
Activities lasting a few hours are offered from spring to autumn on fixed dates. Anyone can sign up to go for a walk in the countryside or make plant-based cosmetics and medicinal products.
Tailor-made workshops can also be organised for groups of three or more people, offering a chance to enjoy a pleasant time with family, friends or colleagues. The following options are available:
- Nature walks to discover seasonal medicinal and edible plants
- Plant foraging to make a cosmetic product to take home
- Distillation of a hydrosol using freshly picked seasonal aromatic plants
- Natural skincare
- The family's natural medicine cabinet
