Sculpture by Catherine Mauron on the shores of Lac de Joux
Les Oiseaux Cœur invite visitors to see the Vallée de Joux from a new perspective.
On the lakeside, near the Rocheray jetty, two birds come together to form a heart, with the Dent de Vaulion as a backdrop.
The aim is to find the right vantage point: stand in the centre of the sculpture, find the best composition and include the Dent de Vaulion in the photo.
Whether on your own, as a couple, with family or friends, everyone is invited to strike a pose and share their photo on social media using the hashtag #oiseauxcoeur.
Les Oiseaux Cœur is a creation born out of a collaboration between Catherine Mauron, a sculptor, and Jaques Vallotton, the project’s designer. Crafted from stainless steel and standing 2.60 metres tall, the artwork blends seamlessly into the landscape of the Vallée de Joux.
