A loop through the Risoud forest, featuring a succession of ascents and descents, with possible stops at mountain shelters.
This loop of around 11 km offers a complete immersion in the heart of the Risoud forest, the largest continuous forest area in Switzerland. The route starts at Les Grandes Roches and crosses pastures and woodland areas to the Mézery junction.
Marked by several ascents and descents, the trail also provides access to several emblematic shelters of the massif, such as Apollo, Grands Crêts du Vent or La Racine, all ideal for a break in the midst of nature. A varied loop that fully reflects the winter richness of the Risoud forest.
